Paper is said to be the barometer of culture, and the need for paper has diversified along with the advance of multimedia and other cutting-edge technologies. OG’s Pulp and Paper Field has been developing new products to meet market needs while supplying a complete range of chemicals essential for the entire papermaking process to ensure durable, beautiful and functional operation. To promote the diversification of resources, we also work on the development of non-wood pulp paper as well as strive to improve techniques for manufacturing paper using recycled materials, and seek the effective use of waste as a way to recycle resources.
In regard to packaging and paperboard products, for which demand is expected to grow in Asian countries, we contribute know-how accumulated through our pulp and paper business to improve the operations and quality of paper manufacturers in Asia through the export of cutting-edge paper chemicals used in Japan.
