Challenges in Japan

The social infrastructure in Japan developed rapidly during the period of high economic growth. Decades have passed since then, and how to renovate the infrastructure is a current major issue. To solve this challenge, we are working on developing resilient infrastructure.

We cooperate with our partner companies in developing new products, and seek to expand our business and contribute to society by spreading the sales of such products through our network.

In addition, through these efforts, we aim to contribute to achieving Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, one of the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015.

Challenges overseas

In Southeast Asian countries, economic and population growth has changed people’s lifestyle. As the distribution of daily necessities, such as food and medical goods, has increased, logistics infrastructure has developed rapidly. These countries are expected to keep growing. However, the delivery loss rate for agricultural products and others remains as high as 20 to 30%, so it is necessary to make the distribution system more efficient and effective.

With the cooperation of a Japanese manufacturer, we supply insulation panels that meet Japanese specifications to refrigeration and cold storage warehouses built in Indonesia. We are contributing to the development of the cold chain in Indonesia by manufacturing logistics materials locally and ensuring stable supplies.

In addition, these efforts are helping to attain Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.
